To all our members and customers:
Jackson County Library District has decided to take the following measures in response to the coronavirus pandemic:
THE BOOK SHOP
The Friends Book Shop will be closed until the district gives us the all-clear to reopen. For now, the shop is closed immediately and through the end of March. The situation will be reevaluated at that time.
THE LIBRARY
Branch libraries will close starting Monday, March 16; Medford and Ashland libraries will remain open at this time, and will be open all seven days of the week. All library programs are cancelled for the time being, and meeting rooms will be unavailable.
FRIENDS ANNUAL MEETING
The Annual Meeting will be postponed as well. As soon as a new date is determined we will post it.
MEDFORD COMIC CON
Comic Con is cancelled for 2020, to return in 2021.

The Friends' board and management team will continue to closely monitor the ongoing situation and evaluate any additional measures to be taken. We hope to get back to "normal" sometime soon, but we all have to take this one day at a time.

BOOK DONATIONS
Please hold off on dropping off donations for the time being. Volunteers will not be allowed to collect them and bring them inside. We'll let you know when we are able to accept donations again.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!
We are always looking for volunteers to work in the Book Shop and help process donations.
If you have public relations or social media experience, we could use your expertise to help promote our Book Shop and events.
We'll be accepting applications after coronavirus restrictions are lifted.
